Fast jeder hat zu einem gewissen Grad eine Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung &nbsp;&#8211; beinahe die H\u00e4lfte aller Menschen mit einer Fehlsichtigkeit haben mindestens auf einem Auge eine Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung. Astigmatismus kann man nicht nur auf einem, sondern auch auf beiden Augen haben, und oft tritt sie auch zusammen mit anderen Fehlsichtigkeiten wie Kurz- (Myopie) und Weitsichtigkeit (Hyperopie) auf. Man spricht bei diesen drei Fehlsichtigkeiten auch von Brechungsfehlern, da sie beeinflussen, wie das ins Auge einfallende Licht \u201cgebrochen\u201d wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"645\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lenstore.de\/augenpflege\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/astigmatism-train-board.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1262\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Was sind die Ursachen von Astigmatismus?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Eine Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung wird normalerweise von einer unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig geformten Hornhaut oder Linse verursacht. Anstatt, dass die Hornhaut oder Linse nicht sch\u00f6n rund ist (wie ein Fu\u00dfball), hat sie eher die Form eines Eies (oder Footballs). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Hornhaut und Linse sind haupts\u00e4chlich f\u00fcr die Fokussierung des Lichts, das durch die Augennetzhaut eindringt, verantwortlich. Eine perfekt geformte Hornhaut und Linse k\u00f6nnen das Licht richtig brechen, wenn es ins Auge eindringt und sorgen so f\u00fcr eine scharfe Sicht. Wenn die Hornhaut oder Linse unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig geformt ist, kann das Licht nicht richtig gebrochen werden. Die Folge: Anstatt das Licht an einem Punkt auf der Netzhaut fokussiert wird, werden mehrere Punkte fokussiert, was zu verschwommener Sicht f\u00fchrt. Es ist nicht genau bekannt was die Ursache einer Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung ist, jedoch nimmt man an, dass genetische Faktoren eine gro\u00dfe Rolle dabei spielen. Doch auch schon bei milden Symptomen (bei einem Zylinder von -0,75<em> <\/em>dpt\/D) sollte Astigmatismus korrigiert werden, denn bleibt er unkorrigiert, k\u00f6nnen folgende Beschwerden auftreten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verschwommene oder verzerrte Sicht<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sehstress oder unangenehmes Gef\u00fchl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kopfschmerzen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ersch\u00f6pftsein<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zusammenkneifen der Augen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Arten von Astigmatismus<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Es gibt zwei Haupt-Arten von Astigmatismus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Beim<strong> regul\u00e4ren Astigmatismus <\/strong>ist die Kr\u00fcmmung der Hornhaut regelm\u00e4\u00dfig. Diese Form von Astigmatismus ist die am h\u00e4ufigsten vorkommende und kann ganz einfach durch eine Brille oder torische Kontaktlinsen korrigiert werden.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beim<strong> irregul\u00e4ren Astigmatismus <\/strong>hingegenist die Kr\u00fcmmung der Hornhaut unregelm\u00e4\u00dfig. Au\u00dferdem ist diese Form viel weniger verbreitet. Die Ursache kann eine Augenverletzung oder eine Erkrankung wie Keratokonus sein, bei der die f\u00fcr gew\u00f6hnlich runde Hornhaut immer d\u00fcnner wird und die Form eines Kegels annimmt. Diese Art von Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung kann nicht immer von einer Brille, jedoch von speziellen Kontaktlinsen, korrigiert werden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wie wird Astigmatismus korrigiert?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Prinzipiell kann beim Optiker oder Augenarzt eine Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung w\u00e4hrend eines ausf\u00fchrlichen Sehtests festgestellt werden. Es gibt aber auch einige <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apotheken-umschau.de\/Augen\/Hornhaut-Selbsttest-43648.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.apotheken-umschau.de\/Augen\/Hornhaut-Selbsttest-43648.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Selbsttests<\/a>, die Sie online durchf\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen. Diese Selbsttests dienen jedoch lediglich dazu festzustellen, ob es erste Anzeichen f\u00fcr eine Hornhautverkr\u00fcmmung gibt, und sind kein Ersatz f\u00fcr die \u00e4rztliche Untersuchung.
